Vacation, which act as an adjuster in people's life, are always a good news to these who are almost exhausted in their work or study. undoubtedly, vacations, no matter long or short, are always heart-stirring; but if there is a given number of days, it appears different sounds in enjoying them as a whole or dividing them into several. For me, I am inclined to several short vacations for the following reasons.

First, there are more inspirations. If there are several short vacations in one year, the temptation is more direct, we may think that we should work harder, because there is a vacation waiting for us while a long vacation always seems reachless. Take my study life for example, if there is a several days' rest after examination, I may study much harder even stay up all night, because I think what you do will be compensated.

Second, there are more chances for students to practice what they learned in class. Today the world is changing in every second, even the best teacher and the newest published book can't catch up with the constantly renewed knowledge. So practice becomes a best way to supplement the gap between theory and fact. When they return to the class with questions, the study become more efficient. And short vacations offer a good chance to apply the latest learned to 'the real world'. Moreover, short vacations don't have the problem that we forget what we learned after a long vacation's relax.

Finally, there are more chances for students to get along with their friends and family. Being a human, students also need time to deal with their social relationship except academic activities. Having vacation between whiles make people more intimate. this is also helpful for the form of mature character and future career life. One the other hand, releasing their stress constantly is better than erupting in one time.

In conclusion, I think the design of several short vacations is more human-oriented, compared to a long vacation, several short vacations helps students more in both physical and mental health. So I prefer several short vacations rather than a long vacation without reservation.(360 words)

Someone argue that the major task of students is to study, but for most people who ever be a student, the sports memories are the most impressive and sweetest part. I think the physical practice should be compulsory in school because it builds a strong and healthy body, leads to friendship and helps the student to express their stress in a correct way.

First and foremost, the sports can make us stronger and healthier. On one hand, sports build your immune system and make you away from being intruded by various viruses. You know, going to the hospital is a terrible experience full of pain. On the other hand, Today in china, accompanied by the developing economy, more and more fried and fatty food with high calories are been introduced. We all know that fat can bring many diseases; especially the increasing number of fat boys and girls has been a social problem. so it’s very important for people to keep fit through science means. Finally, people who exercise more in their school days are more liable to have a good habit in their latter life.

Second, most sports require students to cooperate. Such as football, basketball and volleyball, etc. By playing the game, the students communicated more with each other and in such a way they are linked coherently. Friendship always starts at this time; this also helps the student more adaptable to the future social activity.

The last, physical practice also is a good way to express the student’s pressure. Students often face the competition from their counterparts and other emotional problems that the adult cannot imagine, adolescent crimes occur if we don’t give them an outlet. Obviously, to society, the damage of kicking the ball is minimal.

In conclusion, although schools aim at improving the academic ability of students, considering the benefits we take from the physical practice can affect us both in physical and mental ways; I still hole the opinion that we should take the physical practice as a indispensable part of school life.  (339 words)

                     Grade encourage students to learn

Nowadays, it becomes a heated debate topic that whether the grade can stimulate the student to study harder. Someone may think that grade makes the study atmosphere tense and the student who gets low score may be hit and become less confident. But in my opinion, most students get more benefits than harms.

Among countless benefits we get from grade, the most important is that grade gives us stress and always reminds us what we should do next.. Grade is a mirror which reflects your advantage and disadvantage, the lower grade means we should input more energy while higher grade means relatively less. In this way, you can adjust your study plan purposely and use you precious time efficiently. Use grade skillfully will make the study easier.

Grade also makes us more adaptable to the society. Today the world is more and more competitive from job opportunities to nature resources even to marriage. As a social individual who will surely step into the society in the short future, every student should handle the chance the grade provides to prepare to face the challenge and stress. A student who had good grade in school is always the one more competent can serve as a typical example for this point. Once you are in your career you will find it is a valuable experience.

Finally, the grade also gives the student the feeling of success. Success, which is always exciting, will encourage the student study even harder. On the other hand, student can establish the belief that only hard work creates fruits.
